Welcome to The Busy Box! We're so glad you're here. Below you'll find all the important bits about how our subscription works, how we protect your information, and what to expect with each order. By placing an order or subscribing, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

We are The Busy Box, a UK-based business providing monthly activity boxes for children aged 1–6. Our aim is to make learning through play simple, joyful, and screen-free. The Busy Box is operated by The Legge Group Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales.

The Legge Group Ltd is currently not VAT-registered. All prices shown are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

2. Subscription Model

We operate on a monthly subscription model. A new box is delivered to your door each month with 4 themed, age-appropriate activities.

Subscription Details:

  • Billed monthly at £19.99 per box (Sibling Boxes are £35.99 per box)

  • Cancel anytime via your account or by emailing admin@thebusybox.co.uk

  • Subscriptions renew each month on the same date you originally signed up

  • Please cancel at least 48 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month

  • We do not offer partial refunds for cancellations after a renewal has processed

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We currently ship to UK addresses only

  • Boxes are dispatched within 5 working days of your initial order or monthly renewal

  • Orders placed on or after the 25th of the month will receive the following month’s box, to ensure enough time for processing and shipping.

    For example, if you place an order on May 26th, you will receive the June box. This is due to our 5-working-day dispatch time and to ensure you receive a full box experience with appropriate timing.

    If you're unsure which box you will receive, feel free to contact us before placing your order.

  • We use Royal Mail or a tracked courier service

  • If your box hasn’t arrived within 10 working days, please contact us at admin@thebusybox.co.uk

  • Please ensure your delivery details are accurate. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses

  • Risk and responsibility for the box transfers to you upon dispatch

4. Returns & Refunds

Due to the personalised and child-focused nature of our products, we do not accept returns of opened or used boxes. However, we may offer:

  • A replacement box if yours is damaged or lost in transit

  • A partial or full refund at our discretion if the issue is reported within 14 days of receiving your box

5. Box Contents & Safety

Each Busy Box is designed for children aged 1–3 (Little Explorer) and 3–6 (Curious Creator), with the option to add a Sibling Box for households with more than one child.

  • Contents will vary each month based on the chosen theme

  • Some materials or concepts may be repeated across different months to support varied learning outcomes

  • The Sibling Box is a full duplicate of the main box for the selected age range — each child receives their own set of 4 activities and all materials (e.g. 2 glue sticks, 2 sticker sets)

  • All materials are selected with safety in mind and are age-appropriate for the intended range

  • Children should always be supervised during activities, particularly when using small parts or craft tools

  • Not suitable for children under 36 months without adult supervision

  • While all materials are selected with care, The Busy Box cannot be held liable for misuse once the box has been delivered

6. Marketing & Communications

You will only receive marketing emails if you opt in during checkout or sign up via our website. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting admin@thebusybox.co.uk. We do not sell or share your information with third-party advertisers.

7. Privacy Policy

We comply with the UK GDPR and are committed to protecting your personal information.

  • To process your order and deliver your box

📦 Third-Party Processors:
We may share your data with trusted platforms such as Royal Mail, Squarespace, or Stripe solely to fulfil your order or process payments. We do not share your data for advertising purposes.

  • We do not store your payment information

  • You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your data at any time
