The Problem We Wanted to Solve

Where can I find monthly crafty activities for kids that are fun, educational and not completely overwhelming for parents?

That was the question that started it all. Like many families, we were looking for creative, screen-free ways to keep our little ones engaged — but between finding ideas, buying materials, and tidying up, it often felt more stressful than fun.

From Kitchen Table to Subscription Box

We started with a few themed crafts at our kitchen table, then turned that spark into something bigger, a subscription box packed with early years activities, all ready to go.

We worked with early years specialists to make sure our activities supported real learning.

Today, The Busy Box is proud to offer two tailored options:

• Little Explorer Box (Age 1–3)
• Curious Creator Box (Age 3–6)

For families with more than one child, the Sibling Box provides four activities per child, so no one has to share.

What Makes The Busy Box Different

Every month features a brand new theme - no repeats - with four fully prepped activities in every box. We design everything with creativity, fine motor skills, independent thinking, and sensory play in mind.

Learning Through Stories

Each box also includes a chapter from Boxy's Sticker Quest - a magical story where your child’s finished crafts appear in the adventure. They help Boxy explore the world of Crafteria, earn stickers, and unlock new parts of the story.

We include an audio version of each chapter too. And no matter when you sign up, you’ll get access to all previous chapters so you can start your journey at any time.

Beyond the Box: Party Bags and More

When parents asked us if they could use our crafts for birthdays, we created our Party Bags - a simple, eco friendly party favour that includes one themed craft, a personalised sticker, and a handmade surprise from Boxy.
